BRANDING
ZOOSINDANG first started in Sindang-dong in 2019.
Sindang-dong, which means "the neighborhood where the gods are enshrined," was an area where many shamans came to live to honor the souls of the dead, starting with Gwanghuimun Gate (city gate: the gate that carries the dead).
ZOOSINDANG reinterpreted these regional characteristics and Sindang-dong's story from a modern perspective. It provides a new experience that has never been seen before by adding Korean material to shamanistic beliefs and creating an internal space that is reversed. Based on the story of 12 gods, "Cat God" protects the door of ZOOSINDANG and guides ZOOSINDANG from the boundary between reality and unreality.
SPACE
We planned a facade design that can naturally melt into the regional characteristics of Sindang-dong. To create the appearance of shrine, which had been in place for a long time, the signboard of the existing kitchen appliance store was reformed and used as it was, and a facade was completed by collecting materials such as worn-out bruises and old furniture.
The inside gave a completely different contrast from the outside, giving a twist that changed the world view with one door. If you enter the entrance of the spooky shrine, you can experience the space of ZOOSINDANG, which was fully immersed and directed without missing a small detail. Spend time in the playground of the 12 gods and feel a sense of deviation from reality.
COCKTAIL
The signature '12 Zodiac Cocktails' of ZOOSINDANG contain various stories about 12 animals.
The 'Dragon' cocktail visualizes the dragon ascending to heaven, and the 'Monkey' cocktail inspired by the nursery rhyme 'Monkey's butt is red', etc.
You can experience a drink that stimulates your imagination, from witty stories to high-quality cocktail visuals.
F&B
The dining menu of ZOOSINDANG is a national fusion menu based on Korean food, interpreted in various ways.
The mousse cake, developed based on the cat god statue that protects ZOOSINDANG, is ZOOSINDANG's signature dessert menu and is consistently loved.
The plates that contain the menu are developed to allow you to feel ZOOSINDANG's worldview by bringing out the story and details.
OPERATION
After sitting down, if you pull out a menu flag made with the motif of the five-bang-gi, you will be given the menu description and the fortune of the day related to the color. In addition, you will find various details in a dark bathroom filled with the brightly shining word "LUCK" and feel as if you are in a different world.
As such, it is operated so that you can experience details in everything from the moment you enter ZOOSINDANG to the moment you leave. A dense brand is completed only when all the details of the trivial part are filled.
FRANCHISE BUSINESS
The brand ‘ZOOSINDANG’ started in 2019 in Sindang-dong, Seoul with the concept of ‘Playground of the 12 Zodiac Signs’. It is a cocktail bar brand that has been consistently loved since its opening as a conceptual space that contains the regional characteristics of Sindang-dong. In order to further expand the worldview of ZOOSINDANG, the ‘12 Zodiac Signs 12 Branch Opening Project’ is being prepared nationwide.
The goal is to complete the 12 branches by detailing the different stories of the 12 zodiac signs and the characteristics of each animal and incorporating an attractive concept.
